November 9th TCG Banlist

so we've finally got our tcg ban list and it will come into effect on the 9th of November the stie and link for the new list is still a bit buggy for some ppl so ill just post the changes (and boy where there some changes)

newly banned cards:

APOQLIPHORT TOWERS (bye bye towers turbo this could bring about some interesting qliphort builds and strategy's so in my book not a bad hit)

SHURIT, STRATEGIST OF THE NEKROZ (konami is saying bye bye to the top deck with this hit and im happy with tht dont get me wrong i didnt mind nekroz but they've had there time in the sun and its time for something new and if konami makes a bit of money from tht "wink" its not all bad)

EL SHADDOLL CONSTRUCT (behold the death of my beloved dolls)

EVILSWARM EXCITON KNIGHT (idk why this was banned im guess cause its a big anti pendulum card and is such a stable in a lot of decks because of this)

newly limited cards:

QLIPHORT SCOUT (there rly trying to bury them arnt they?)

GRAFF, MALEBRANCHE OF THE BURNING ABYSS (screw the top tier decks seems to be a theme with this list)

MATHEMATICIAN (why?)

NEKROZ OF BRIONAC
NEKROZ OF UNICORE (with both these guys limited and shuirt banned nekroz is dead and most likely will never be revived)

RITUAL BEAST ULTI-CANNAHAWK (i know you guys dont like loops but this rly wasn't needed or deserved)

EL SHADDOLL FUSION (as much as i love my dolls this was needed and i fully agree with this hit)

REINFORCEMENT OF THE ARMY (hurt those tellars without directly hurting them and also keep a few other decks in line not bad konami but i think this would have been better at 2 and limiting 1-2 main tellars or there trap)

newly semi-limited cards:

CIR, MALEBRANCHE OF THE BURNING ABYSS (at least they still have Dante)

newly unlimited cards:

CHAOS SORCERER (nothing to say about this i in fact like this decision)

LEGENDARY SIX SAMURAI - SHI EN (woooo six sams still not gonna do anything konami)

SPELLBOOK OF FATE (as a spellbook fan this is interesting to say the least)

GEARGIAGEAR (geargias are back!!! "probably not")


so what did we get with this list? IMO a huge nuke to the meta witch will allow for there new stuff to get a big advantage and while i may not agree with some of the hits i do agree tht its time for yugioh to move on out with the old and in with the new while we didn't get a few things back that i think should have come back this list is still decent wht do you guys think?

Really? Exciton Knight is banned?! He was my ace card (and by ace, I mean my favorite Xyz)

For El Shaddoll Construct, well, that'll change up my LightDoll deck a bit.

El Shaddoll Fusion being limited? Eh, I can deal with it a bit. I just need to replace the other two with something else

spellbook of fate to 3 = judgment at 1 next format or 2 = spellbooks tier 1 again!!

I played Spellbooks last formats as well. I kinda got used to have Fate at 1 and recycle it with Tower and add it with Secrets (Master).

Banlist is pretty good, though I don't like that Exciton get banned because he was my favorite XYZ and tbh there are far more broken xyz's in game. Also I'm unhappy that Tellars didn't get a hit. I remind you guys that they won worlds with only one ROTA

Damn I went through the banlist earlier, I didnt notice that Exciton got hit. Well, it looks like Majespecters and the newer stuff is going to rape the meta now. Good luck, I'll be piloting the furry cancer that is the specters

Edit: RIP Nekroz, you were the bane of my existence all year round. We've had a good run gungnir (bae).

I kind of hate that it killed all my decks but atleast we have a new meta to play with. I'm really enjoying Majespecter and Kozmo, it's also been nice playing something different meta wise.

out of the new meta (or wht will be our new meta) my fav deck is majespecters but personally im still waiting for my new main deck for the format/s to hit tcg and tht is dinomist love the deck and the artwork on the cards is amazing

I was like "Oh, Kaiju's, I finally found something cool and unique" And then next 5 duels I did were vs Kaiju...

Kozmo is definitely going to be the most played deck this format untill emem comes to TCG next month.

Satellarknight are a pretty good unique deck to play at the moment and still strong just run 2 skybridge to replace the 2 RoTA.

Yup. I think I might run the deck I hated the most last format...I like Tellars more than Kozmos and Majespecters xD

Satellarknight forever at the bottom of the meta chain but have been a solid choice since release just plodding away in the background unnoticed and even won world's lol.

Ikr...still...better than Kozmo... xD

LS seem to be popular (and pretty competitive) with the release of Minevra on DN anyway xd Minevra is mega expensive in real life lol.
