Grading The Deck 21/35

Consistency: 4/7 you have cards that will search out cards for you, or send to the grave, or special summon, etc. However the deck lacks certain things it desperately needs, things that will improve the consistancy ten fold.

Power: 4/7 The deck has power but it was just lacking that something extra to push it over the top. If you dont get your powerhouse quickly its harder for you to set up and once your opponant has set up its hard for you to step around it.

Synergy: 4/7 The deck is an archetype so it generally will synergyse will together however there are better card choices that will make the deck faster and all around better, i think you went too hard on the whole photon theme of the deck.

Side: 0/5 it unfortunately only contains cards that are meant for the extra deck if you had cards like shadow-imprisoning mirror or spell shattering arrow, or fairy wind, or anti-spell fragrance, you would have almost certainly been able to stop me dead in my tracks.

Extra: 2/3 you were running a couple doubles of cards you generally wouldnt need, but all around it wasnt too bad.

Deck Origonality/Rarity: 6/6 photon is a hard archetype to get to work for you but if you can manage it it is very powerful.

Interesting and Unique Techs and Card Choices: 2/0 guardian of order is an interesting choice and could potentially be useful but in certain situations like our duels you might simply be unable to summon it. Swordsman of Revealing Light is a pretty good wall, and can get you over some things but needing them to attack you to be able to summon it (and maybe have it destroyed then and there) it could go wrong.


Grading The Duel 10/18

Siding: 1/5 given you couldnt side anything in that would be entirely too useful you did well not siding, however there wasnt much to chose from in this case.

Usage of Cards: 4/5 you did well for what you had open to you though once or twice you could have gone with exciton knight and cleared the field of my wall.

Control: 0/3 i was in control the entire game, there was unfortunately not much you could have done.

Misplays: 5/5 there was no real missplays made in the game.

Attitude: 1/1 pretty self explanitory

You got Slifer Red, dont be discouraged just keep practicing here with us and you'll get there, ask anyone you want for help and i can almost garuantee that you'll almost always get help

Welcome to GDA. Don't be down that you got into Slifer, it's a great dorm. I started there myself as well. Rees is a very hard but correct tester, listen to his advice and I'm sure you'll improve.
