malefic breakdown
an archetype I myself have been interested in for a week now and still can't get the build I want to work... but now here is my breakdown and thoughts on this archetype. well first warning some of the stuff in here is opinion and if I make a mistake tell me below and ill fix it probably... well if you point it out I will but truly we will burn that bridge after we pass it. now on to what you came here for the breakdown on the malefic archetype so considering there is only ten cards in this archetype alone hopefully this will be short and sweet.

now I'm done so what do you guys think my next archetype breakdown be comment below and ill try tit get the breakdown up in a week. also tell me if I need to add anything or if you have question just ask ill try to answer them to the best of my knowledge. also even though i woke up before writing this i am tired so yeay!
also another note before posting this my internet fell for a second and thought i lost this i would be miserable if that happen so luckily it didn't. also how do you guys like my joking nature of the spoilers care for me to do this or just want me to keep it simple and say what it truly means in simplest terms.

- monsters who were not pure at one time:
- Malefic Parallel Gear

When using this card as a Synchro Material Monster, the other Synchro Material Monster is 1 "Malefic" monster in your hand.
the little dude in this archetype with only zero attack and defense but is also the only tuner monster in this archetype while also letting you synchro summon level 9/10 synchro monsters with the malefics from hand.
Malefic Paradox Dragon
level 10/ dark/ dragon/ synchro/ effect
4000/4000
"Malefic Parallel Gear" + 1 non-Tuner "Malefic" monster
When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can select 1 Synchro Monster in either player's Graveyard, and Special Summon it. There can only be 1 face-up "Malefic Paradox Dragon" on the field. If "Malefic World" is not face-up on the field, destroy this card.
well here is the only synchro monster in this archetype and he does not disappoint with his power. with the ability to bring synchro monsters from the grave when synchro summoned means this dude can bring some quick power to the field. though this monster has more disadvantages than advantages with having only three simple synchro materials while also having the disadvantage of staying alive when malefic world is on the field and no other malefic paradox dragon means he is rarely seen out.
Malefic Truth Dragon
level 12/ dark/ dragon/ effect
5000/5000
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned by its own effect, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If a "Malefic" monster you control, except "Malefic Truth Dragon" is destroyed by battle or by card effects: You can pay half your Life Points; Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard. There can only be 1 "Malefic" monster on the field. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: Destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls.
the big boss monster of this archetype literally making the player pay half your life points to summon means this dude is pretty hefty card to play. but having 5000 attack and defense means that your opponent needs to have a powerful monster or by getting rid of the field spell. this also can clear the field for you to but the case of malefics considering you can only have one on the field and most of your monster will probably ne malefic means you can't get much offensive use with this effect.
- pure and sin, hand to hand:
- Malefic Red-Eyes B. Dragon
level 7/ dark/ dragon/ effect
2400/2000
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned, by removing from play 1 "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" from your Deck. There can only be 1 face-up "Malefic" monster on the field. Other monsters you control cannot declare an attack. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card.
ahh finally to the simple malefics starting with mighty red-eyes. making it where none of your other monsters can attack and having only 1 malefic monster on the field means this one personally would probably not be used much but can work with the parallel gear to synchro summon level 9 monsters.
Malefic Blue-Eyes white dragon
level 8/ dark/ dragon/ effect
3000/2500
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 1 "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from your Deck. There can only be 1 "Malefic" monster on the field. Other monsters you control cannot declare an attack. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card.
the mighty blue-eyes corrupted. this powerful beast is exactly like the red eyes but level 8 and can synchro summon level 10 monsters with the parallel gear. not much more to say really...
Malefic Rainbow Dragon
level 10/ dark/ dragon/ effect
4000/0
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned, except by removing from play 1 "Rainbow Dragon" from your hand or Deck. There can only be 1 face-up "Malefic" monster on the field. Other monsters you control cannot declare an attack. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card.
not much has changed except that you can banish his counterpart from your hand and he cannot be special summoned by other ways. not much more to say just simple malefics.
- heaven fallen to sin:
- Malefic Stardust Dragon
level 8/ dark/ dragon/ effect
2500/2000
Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 1 "Stardust Dragon" from your Extra Deck and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. There can only be 1 face-up "Malefic" monster on the field. Face-up Field Spell Cards cannot be destroyed by effects. Other monsters you control cannot declare an attack. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card.
yeay finally we get to the last type of malefics which can be summoned by banishing its counterpart from the extra deck so this is similar to red/blue-eyes except the main deck is now the side deck while also this monster has the extra effect of making your field spells indestructible. while also not being able to be special summoned except by its own effect. do I need to say anymore?
Malefic Cyber End Dragon
level 10/ dark/ machine/ effect
4000/2800
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 1 "Cyber End Dragon" from your Extra Deck. There can only be 1 face-up "Malefic" monster on the field. Other monsters you control cannot declare an attack. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card.
must I say anything? except it is machine and works like the rainbow but from extra then hand and main deck.
- field with its trap:
- Malefic World
field spell
While this card is face-up on the field, you can activate this effect instead of conducting a normal draw during your Draw Phase. Choose 3 "Malefic" cards from your Deck and have your opponent pick 1 of them at random to add to your hand. Shuffle the rest back into your Deck.
basically the whole engine of the malefics by substituting your draw phase with you choosing three malefics in your deck and your opponent picking one which you keep and returning the other 2. also this card allows you to keep malefic paradox dragon on the field. ohh well time to see the trap.
Malefic Claw Stream
normal trap
Activate only if you control a face-up "Malefic" monster. Select 1 monster your opponent controls, and destroy it.
must I explain this trap? well it can help you escape number 101 but its effect is straight forward
Skill Drain
continuous trap
Activate by paying 1000 Life Points. The effects of all face-up monsters on the field are negated while those monsters are face-up on the field (but their effects can still be activated).
now this card is not in the archetype I know but this card can help the vanilla malefic build so easily to summon multiple malefics and attacking with everything you have but it does have some downsides but is beneficial.
